COVID-19 UPDATE

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, we are joining our artistic community in the decision to cancel public events to avoid further spread of the virus. As a result, ALL PERFORMANCES OF BLINK AND GROUNDED are cancelled, with hopes to stage these shows in the near future. At Verb Theatre, we are committed to supporting our theatre community and artists through this difficult time. Thank you for your understanding.

Verb Theatre’s own Artistic Director Jamie Dunsdon returns to the stage for the first time in 10 years in this intimate, playful, and authentic performance that is one part theatre, one part birthday party, and one part investigation of all the things we wish we could un-know. A poignant and heartfelt exploration of ignorance, bliss, and everything in between.

blue light - a festival of social media performance

Theatre and social media always seem to be at odds with one another. Before every show you are told to turn off your cell phones, remove yourself from the real world and separate from technology. Blue Light Festival is a challenge to the traditions of theatre that merges the online with the off. A daring experiment in undermining the definition of theatre that takes on-stage practices to an online world.

The Blue Light Festival is an online performance festival experienced through the mediums of Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat and beyond. The festival will feature eight pieces each performed using a social media platform online.
